Presenting an exquisite vintage 1940s Trifari gold plated fluted shell fur clip, a creation patented by the renowned Alfred Philippe. This piece bears the patent number 137,545 from March 28th, 1944. The metal is believed to be Trifari's Trifanium, which is a shiny silver colored metal. In this case, it is plated with a layer of gold which exhibits a graceful aging patina, adding to its timeless charm. This fur clip has two prongs on the back and features a practical rollover clasp on one prong to keep it securely in place.
