This is an outstanding genuine Korite Ammolite set in a 14K gold teardrop setting with diamond accents!
This type of ammolite is known as "Dragonskin" for the crackled effect that it has. It has a nice mix of red and green with hints of yellow and some blue showing through when it is moved about. It exhibits a nice fire or iridescence. The ammolite has a protective top layer of quartz. This is known as a doublet.
A gorgeous bigger piece in a feminine timeless shape with a bit of sparkle!
